Great Bay Community College (GBCC) has added two veterans of the higher education field to their leadership team. Rob McGann has been named Vice President of Student Success and Enrollment Management and Maria Altobello has joined the college as Associate Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.

McGann brings more than 30 years of experience in higher education to his new role. Most recently, he served as Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, Pa. Previously, he had held several leadership positions at the University of New Hampshire, including Director of Admissions, Assistant Vice President of Student and Academic Services, and interim Vice President of Enrollment Management. He holds an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Connecticut.

Altobello comes to GBCC from Labouré College of Healthcare in Milton, Mass. where she served as Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. Previously, she was Dean of the College of Health and Natural Sciences at Franklin Pierce University in N.H. She has extensive experience teaching on the faculty of both Franklin Pierce University and at Harvard University Extension School. She holds numerous advanced degrees including Doctor of Education in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University in information technology, and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
